Borehole drilling: Sucess!

And on it goes - bring on the water

A perfect day for the Divine Mercy High School and for the project: On May 30th the borehole drilling for the new well struck water at around 70 meter. The borehole site was identified by results of geophysical measurements of prior Geophysical Survey Report.

The ongoing second project stage is implemented and sponsored by the Rotary Clubs Kyotera, Uganda, and Danish Wohld, Germany. A general contractor has taken over the coordination of works and is in charge to build boys’ toilets, an underground rainwater cistern, a header tank and a water filter system for water supply. The project team of Engineers without Borders in Hamburg developed the underlying WASH concept and supports the Rotary Clubs and the Divine Mercy High School for the implementation.
